Getter Robo: Armageddon

Sent to jail after being accused of murdering Getter Robo creator Dr. Saotome, Ryoma Nagare must once again team up with his former comrades and pilot Getter Robo when Saotome returns from the dead and threatens humanity by unleashing his greatest creation - the Shin Dragon. Their efforts, however, are in vain as they fail to stop a nuclear warhead from hitting Shin Dragon, resulting in a massive Getter Ray contamination that wipes out 99% of the planet's population. Thirteen years after this great catastrophe, mankind continues to fight for survival against the Invaders. Out of the remains of the nuclear blast comes Shin Getter, piloted by the artificial human Go. With remnants of the Japanese military by his side, Go - along with co-pilots Kei and Gai - must use Shin Getter to exterminate the Invaders once and for all.

Comportant trois véhicules différents qui ont combiné pour former un robot massif, le Getter Robo qui était le robot de transformation original. Les Getter Robo ont été créés pour défendre la planète de tous ce qui la menaceraient. Mais ces robots étaient si puissants que ceux qu'ils ont à protéger ont commencé à les craindre. Une crainte si grande qu'il a conduit l'humanité à détruire ses sauveurs et leur créateur. Mais maintenant une ombre a rampé à travers la lune. Les échos faibles peuvent être entendus. Les chuchotements terrifiés racontent les envahisseurs. L'humanité se recroqueville maintenant sous l'oeil attentif d'une menace extraterrestre au delà de leurs cauchemars. Leur seul défense sont les Getter Robo, et le seul homme qui peut les rapporter se trouve sous terre. Ou est-il ?

Anni dopo il dottor Saotome, creduto morto per mano di Ryoma Nagare, leader del Getter Team, torna con un nuovo modello di Getter robot e questa volta sembra diventato nemico dell’umanità e pieno di rancore anche per la morte di sua figlia Michiru, uccisa nel corso di un misterioso incidente di volo. Lo scienziato lancia un immenso esercito di Getter robot G contro le forze capeggiate dalle Nazioni Unite. Il compito di contrastarlo a bordo di un Getter 1 viene affidato proprio a Ryoma Nagare, fino ad allora imprigionato in un carcere di massima sicurezza perché accusato dell’assassinio di Saotome.

공룡제국과 백귀제국 그리고 인베이더들을 모두 물리친 겟타 팀. 그러나 평화는 오래가지 않았다. 인베이더들이 다시 부활하여 인류를 위협하고 있었기 때문이다. 그리고 사랑하는 딸 미치루를 잃은 사오토메 박사는 그 책임을 료마와 하야토에게 돌리고 겟타선을 이용하여 세계를 멸망시키려 한다. 료마와 하야토는 사오토메를 막으려 하지만 인베이더인 코웬과 스팅거의 농간으로 지구는 인베이더 천국이 되고 13년이 흐른다. 시간이 흘러 벤케이는 중년이 되고 그가 키운 겐키는 케이라는 소녀로 성장한다. 벤케이는 우연히 지상으로 나와 진 겟타로보를 발견한다. 고는 사오토메가 인베이더와 대항하기 위해 미치루의 유전자를 이용하여 만들어낸 신인류. 고와 케이 그리고 부상당한 벤케이를 대신해 가이가 진 겟타로보를 조종하게 된다. 인베이더들과 싸우던중 케이는 자신의 비밀을 알게되고 혼란에 빠지지만 모든 것을 부정하고 사오토메와 맞선다. 한편 지상 연합군의 사령관이된 하야토는 진 드래곤의 부활을 저지하려 애쓰지만 번번히 실패한다. 다행히도 진 드래곤은 더 이상의 진화를 멈추고 사라졌지만 아직 안심할 수 없는 처지. 인베이더들과 싸움이 치열해질 무렵, 13년 전 실종되었던 료마가 더욱 잔인하게 변하여 돌아온다. 진 드래곤과의 마지막 싸움에서 료마, 하야토, 벤케이 등 구 겟타 팀은 다시 모여 진 드래곤 안의 사오토메와 일전을 벌인다. 고전하던 겟타 팀은 의식을 잃은 고와 케이의 간절한 바램으로 사오토메를 쓰러뜨린다. 지구의 평화를 찾았다고 안심할때 우주의 인베이더들이 지구로 몰려온다. 지구 멸망의 위기에서 겟타팀은 사력을 다해 싸우고 진 드래곤과 하나

El Dr. Saotome regresa de la muerte después de haber sido supuestamente asesinado por el piloto del Getter Robo, Ryoma Nagare, y amenaza al mundo con una última creación, el Shin Dragon. Ahora a Ryoma, aunque no le guste la idea, le tocará formar nuevamente equipo con sus antiguos compañeros, Jin Hayato y Tomoe Mushashi, para luchar contra el Dr. Saotome, pero el doctor no será el único de sus problemas, porque desde las sombras acechan los misteriosos Invasores, extraterrestres que tienen la habilidad de poseer humanos y deformar su carne para crear horribles criaturas.
