The DVD release does not include the full breadth of the original series, instead, featuring the specially extended editions of Michael Palin’s two classic railway documentaries from 1980 and 1994. These programmes, originally produced as part of the Great Railway Journeys strand, have been retitled for this release as Michael Palin’s Great Railway Journeys.
