The morning after the wedding, Richard reveals to the siblings that not Eva, but her brother-in-law Chris is to be his successor in the company. Eva leaves the foundry deeply hurt. The other siblings are supposed to sign a waiver, but Felix refuses. Chris tries unsuccessfully to smooth the waves. Emily feels excluded by her siblings and wants to cancel the honeymoon.
