Run, Johnny, Run

Johnny Mala wird von der Militärpolizei gesucht - wegen unerlaubten Entfernens von der Truppe. Als es in einem Baseballstadion zu einem Handgemenge zwischem einem Militärpolizisten und Johnny kommt, stirbt der Polizist durch eine Kugel aus seinem eigenen Revolver. McGarrett, der Johnny zur Marine gebracht hatte, um ihn vor einer Gefängnisstrafe zu bewahren, kann ihn zur Aufgabe überreden. Er will ihm helfen. Doch wenig später bricht Johnny aus dem Gefängnis aus.

Two military policeman spot John Mala, a man who McGarrett has helped in the past, but who has gone AWOL. One of the policemen is shot, and tensions rise as Five-O and the army police clash in their techniques of investigation and their treatment of the local population.
