Michael is in critical condition fighting for his life in hospital, as we are given flashbacks to the start of Jane and Michael’s romance. Police question Petra (really her twin sister, Anezka) and find her acting suspiciously and Jane and Michael’s mom finally learn to get along.

Michael lotta per la vita in ospedale. La polizia nota uno strano comportamento quando chiede aiuto a "Petra". Xiomara fa una confessione a Rogelio.
Michael está em estado crítico lutando por sua vida no hospital. Flashbacks mostram o início do romance de Jane e Michael. A polícia questiona Petra (na verdade, sua irmã gêmea, Anezka) e descobre que ela está agindo de forma suspeita e Xiomara e Michael finalmente aprendem a se dar bem.
