Between Las Vegas and Los Angeles sits a gem of the past. Out in the middle of nowhere sits a waterpark that opened in the early 1960's and was a popular weekend destination for many families and tourists that happen to be in the area. Sadly, the waterpark has been closed since the early 2000's but this waterpark holds some rich history and the fondest of memories for those who were lucky enough to stop in and experience the magic. It's been closed and reopened many times over the years and is most well known as Lake Dolores/ Rock a Hoola Waterpark. Come with me as we explore what remains today of America's First Waterpark.
