人との関わりにトラウマを持つ大学生・空野かける（藤原大祐）は、とある授業で、目の見えない女性・冬月小春（永瀬莉子）と出会う。ある日、学生寮のルームメイト・鳴海潮のクラス会に無理やり参加させられたかけるは、そのクラス会にいた幼馴染の早瀬優子をきっかけに、小春と再会する。かけるはそこで、小春が目が見えないことを知るのだが、成り行きで小春の授業をサポートすることになってしまう。小春の明るさと前向きさに触れるうちに、惹かれていくかけるは、「打ち上げ花火を上げる」という小春の夢を叶えようと走り出す――！楽しむことを諦めてきた男子大学生が、強く生きる目の見えない女性に目に見えない恋をする切ない純愛ラブストーリー。

Kakeru Sorano, a 20-year-old university student living in the dorms, encounters Koharu Fuyutsuki, also 20, a beautiful blind girl, during class. Though unable to see, Koharu radiates warmth with her constant smile and optimistic spirit. Kakeru, however, dislikes confrontation and struggles to approach her, choosing instead to keep his distance. Their paths cross again when Koharu’s friend formally introduces them, giving Kakeru the chance to connect. Gradually, he grows more at ease and begins to open up in conversation with her.
