כשאלי (אליהו) יחזקאל בת הזקונים של חזי יחזקאל, עיראקי למהדרין ואב לארבע בנות שמנהל מוסך בשם ״חזי ובניו״, הורסת בטעות את החתונה של אחותה, היא ואחיותיה מתבשרות על קללה משפחתית - עד שאלי הקטנה לא תתחתן, אף אחת מהאחיות שלה לא תעמוד מתחת לחופה. ארבע האחיות לבית משפחת יחזקאל (ריקי, אתי, מירי ואלי), הנכדה רויאל ושתי הגיסות הקשישות והמטורללות, שושנה וסוסו, אשר מתגוררות יחד עם חזי בבית משפחת יחזקאל, יוצאות למסע במטרה להסיר את הקללה - ובדרך חושפות סוד משפחתי שהיה אמור ללכת עם אמן המנוחה לקבר.
