Fish Market Kyoto-style Grilled Black Cod of Edogawa-bashi, Bunkyo Ward

Goro goes to Edogawa-bashi in Bunkyo Ward for the first time. He meets with an owner of a Go board game shop who happens to be quite an active matchmaker. The client insists Goro to take part in an omiai. Of course, the perennial bachelor, feeling uncomfortable, quickly ends his appointment. Nevertheless, it does not mar his day since orders keep pouring in. He strolls along a small shopping district, called Jizo shopping street. He takes time to snack on purposely broken senbei bought from a traditional rice cracker shop, "Kisaku". Then, his feelings of hunger continue to gnaw on him, so he searches for a place and ends up at an eatery run by the fish market, called "Uotani". It serves delightful dishes that would make any seafood-lover extremely happy.

なんと江戸川橋初の五郎。 交叉点を行き、神田川を渡る。やがて「平井碁盤店」に。 商談をしているうちに、いつの間にか主人（蛭子能収）は五郎にお見合いを執拗に進め出す。なんとか逃れて店を出ると、そこには商店街が。気分直しにふらっとする五郎。 子育て地蔵尊をお参りしたり、本手焼煎餅「喜作」を覗いてみたり。 煎餅を食べていると無性にお腹が剥いてきて、「食事処・居酒屋魚谷」に入る。 そこは魚屋さんがやっているお店だった。 「いいじゃないか。…これなら間違いない」 五郎は、銀だらの西京焼き、えんがわポン酢にご飯まで注文する。その美味しさに惹かれ、最後に追加できんきの煮付けとばくだん納豆まで頼んでしまった。 独り、魚料理を堪能する五郎だった。

도쿄, 에도카와바시역에 내린 고로(마츠시게 유타카)는 바둑판 가게를 향한다. 일본을 좋아하는 프랑스인이 건설중인 일본식 방에 놀 바둑판을 찾고 있기 때문이다 하지만 고로가 독신이라는 것을 안 바둑판 가게 주인(에비스 요시카즈)에게 맞선을 권유 받아, 일얘기가 진행되지 않는다. 도망치듯 가게를 나온 고로는 카구라자카로 가려 했지만, 도중에 상점가를 발견하게 된다. 그 곳에서 전병을 구입한 고로는 일본 음식이 먹고 싶어져 조금 더 걸어보기로 한다. 그렇게 생선가게에서 운영하는 식당을 발견하게 된다.
