Le storie di Topo Gigio, create da Guido Stagnaro, andavano in onda ogni mercoledì pomeriggio e hanno segnato il vero successo del personaggio, soprattutto tra i bambini. Lo show è stato trasmesso nel 1960 sul Programma Nazionale (oggi RaiUno). Topo Gigio, il famoso topolino ideato nel 1958 da Stagnaro con Federico Caldura e Maria Perego, ha fatto il suo debutto televisivo in "Canzonissima" 1959/60.
