The series is the story of two sisters who grow up fondly loving each other but get separated and become archrivals when they meet again in the fashion world.

La mère d'Angela et d'Anna, Stella, est une ouvrière couturière tandis que leur père, Manuel, allait à Milan travailler. A Milan, Manuel tombe amoureux d'un top model riche Vera Cruz. Quand Manuel retourne aux Philippines, Stella est très fâchée contre lui parce qu'il n'a jamais répondu à ses lettres. Manuel explique la situation et Stella lui pardonne. Mais, bientôt, Manuel décide de laisser son épouse et ses enfants pour vivre avec Vera.
