Season 2

Mushishi: The Next Chapter continues the story of Mushishi Ginko on his journey to help the visible world to coexist with the Mushi. During his travels, Ginko discovers various gifted individuals—those cursed by circumstance and those maintaining a fragile symbiosis with the Mushi—inevitably confronting the question of whether humanity, talented and tortured alike, can manage the responsibility of the unseen. Moreover, as a Mushishi, Ginko must learn more about these strange beings and decide if he has the right to interfere with the complex relationships between Mushi and mankind.

Ginko continue son voyage à la recherche de nouvelles connaissances concernant les mushi, des êtres primaires que les mushishi comme lui peuvent apercevoir. Lorsque ceux-ci rentrent en contact avec les hommes, il arrive que des phénomènes étranges voire inexplicables se produisent. C'est alors dans ces moments-là que les mushishi sont appelés pour apporter leur solution.

무릇 먼 존재로 치부하는 것. 하등하고 기괴하며 친숙한 동식물과는 전혀 달리 여겨지는 것들. 그러한 이형의 무리에 사람은 예로부터 두려움을 품었고 언젠가부터 그것들을 통틀어 벌레라고 불렀다. 벌레에 대한 지식을 가지고 사람을 돕는 '충사' 중 한 명인 은발의 청년 깅코는, 오늘도 벌레와 사람을 이어주기 위하여 여행길을 떠난다. 과연 이번에는 어떠한 이야기가 우리를 기다리고 있을까?
