V samom srdci Slovenska, medzi údoliami riek Váh a Hron sa rozprestiera náš najrozsiahlejší národný park Nízke Tatry. Prvé lúče slnka sa dotýkajú najvyššieho vrchu Ďumbiera, ktorý drží ochrannú ruku nad ostatnými hôľnymi vrchmi. Na východe sa zas statočne vypína náš národný symbol Kráľova hoľa. Horské potoky tu zásobujú vlahou malebné doliny a v podzemí voda už milióny rokov vytvára nádhernú krasovú galériu stovák kilometrov jaskynných chodieb. Je to jedno z najmagickejších území nielen Slovenska ale aj celých Karpát.
In the very heart of Slovakia, between the valleys of the Váh and Hron rivers, lies our largest national park, the Low Tatras. The first rays of the sun touch the highest peak, Ďumbier, which holds a protective hand over the other mountain peaks. In the east, our national symbol, Kráľova hoľa, stands bravely. Mountain streams here supply the picturesque valleys with moisture, and underground, water has been creating a beautiful karst gallery of hundreds of kilometers of cave passages for millions of years. It is one of the most magical areas not only in Slovakia but also in the entire Carpathians.
