2046. L'aria è diventata irrespirabile e il pianeta soffre per la mancanza di ossigeno. Le Milizie Verdi sono al potere e da anni negano alle persone ogni contatto con la Natura per curarla. A NUR, in Sardegna, si estende una delle poche foreste sopravvissute, delimitata da un muro invalicabile e sorvegliata da droni. Cinque adolescenti, cresciuti senza aver mai toccato un albero o fatto il bagno in mare, decidono di entrare nella foresta, rischiando la vita, per scoprire la verità sulla scomparsa dei genitori e riprendersi il loro futuro.
