When a new girl called Jane joins the Blake family, the other children have opinions of there own towards her. Once she runs away, Ben runs off to find her. The other children then run of to find Ben, but, they get catched by the police. Ben finds Jane in a boat place in the middle of a hurricane. He tells her he made a song about her called ""Hurricane Jane"" (hence the title of this episode).
Neal becomes offically adopted into the Blake Family but he does'nt want to take the Family Name.
When the job for Assistant Manager at the Warehouse becomes Available, Marci decides to go for the job so Ben can play there every night. Her Boss Gator Joe hires her and starts to change the Warehouse into a Professional Place. But when Gator Joe starts to Insult Marci about being Cuban, Ben tells Him about Marci being Upset and she tells him off. Meanwhile, Cray steals a pair of Sneakers and Neal and Jane take them back to the mall and end up in Jail for Armed Robbery, So Dave, Karen and Cray go down to Confess.
It's Dave's 45th Birthday and the Blake Children come up with ideas for his Present. Jane Meanwhile, Tries to steal a Expensive Watch to give to Dave, but she decides she could'nt.
After thorwing a Party and Disturbing the Neighbours, Ben, Jane, Marci and Neal have to spend 40 hours doing Community Service at the Hospital. Ben and Neal can't take their eyes off a Cute Female Doctor, Marci helps a Man who tells her to get things for money and Jane tries to entertain a Male Patient but keeps get restless. Meanwhile back at the Blake Household, Sui tries to make a cake from Scratch so she can avoid being dropped from the soccer team with Dave's Assistance.

In a Runaround Dilemma, Sui starts to spend more time with Riley, a guy she met at the Warehouse. Also, Ben tries to Impress Alex by being rich to her Parents so he can can meet them at her Country Club.
Neal develops a crush on One of Sui's Spin Classmates and he lies to her about being a Gangmember, Marci gets annoyed when her Annoying Friend comes to visit.
Fighting and Arguments causes Jane and Sui to not get along, so Karen arranges with Dr. Spencer for some Counselling, but when the 2 Girls try differnet things, The Arguments Continue. Meanwhile, Neal andDave challenge a Female Coach and her daughter to a Bowling Game and Ben tries to get a spot on Marci's Calendar.
Ben finds out that he has a twin Brother named Bryan, but when Bryan gets hooked on Gambling and Going out with Jane, He must tell Ben the Truth.
At Thanksgiving, The Blakes help out the homeless.
Sui gets released from Hospital after jarring her knee after an accident, she gives up her dream to play Soccer and loses her will to do everything. Sui and Jane want to go to see Alanis Morrisette in Conert seeing that's her only Miami show, They beg to Dave and Karen can they go and be careful. But Dave realises that Staying in-line at night can be Dangerous. Later Sui and Jane sneak out of the house to get Tickets when a Miami P.D. Officer arrests them for Breaking Teen Curfew and give them a yellow slip, so Sui hires 2 Actors to play their Parents for a visit from the Social Worker at the Blake's House as the Meeting goes out well when the real Dave and Karen show up suddenly and must face the Consequences of being Grounded. Also, Ben is having his own Troubles when a Waitress at the Warehouse he was trying to get Attention tries to Kiss Him, but Ben avoid a kiss and makes a pass at her.
A Rival Coach decides to Give Sui gifts and a Invitation to transfer her to Day High, When Sui tries out her new team, She get caught in a moment when she Catches her new Boyfriend kissing a Cheerleader while getting ready to tryout.
Ben tries to get attention of a Cultured Girl by Studing Poetry and Art. While on a Date, Neal sends messages to Ben through a Transmitter to the Girl so he can supressed her.
A Geeky Friend of Neal's help Sui in her Mid-terms, but gets Teased when Sui performs okay and drops a date because he always being picked on. Meanwhile, The Other Blakes prepare for a Fire Drill run by Dave.
The Blake Kids win $5,000 in a lottery but argue on who will give the money to Charity or not.
Jane's Old Friend from the Streets, Lori comes to visit Jane at the Warehouse and gets to meet the Blakes when they get ready for Tacos. Lori decides to go Clubbing with Jane and use Fake-ID's like old times, but Dave and Karen catch them talking about going out again the next Morning. Lori is told never to come back to the House and Jane is Grounded and runs away and later tells Lori tells Jane that the Friendship is over after she could'nt rob the Warehouse. Also, Neal is Mistaken for the Miami Mangler that Cray, Marci and Sui saw on TV and come up with a Plan to catch him soon Backfires.
Cray's old neighbor, Megan comes back from boarding school. They go out and Megan convinces Cray to smoke pot. Later, Ben and Jane catch him, and Cray promises not to do it again. When Ben and Jane are talking about it later, they decide that Cray did it because he wasn't feeling loved enough. They read a pamphlet on 'Tough Love' and hatch a plan. The next morning, Cray wakes up to find his arms have been tied to the ends of his bed and his legs and toes have been tied together down the other end. The rest of the show has the other family members coming into his room one by one, telling him how much he means to them, and then tickling his barefeet and sides as he lies helpless on the bed! The episode finishes with Karen running her long fingernails up and down the bare soles of Cray's (Brandon Baker) extremely ticklish feet as Cray helplessly laughs and promises not to smoke pot again!
Gator Joe sees Ben's Band Perform and tells him what great Performance he did, However, Gator Joe decides to get more International talent like M2M to Perform and Marci fires Ben from the Warehouse at the Dinner Table, but things don't turn out good when She tells Him that he's not Invited back, but M2M gives Ben Advice on how to be a better Performer and returns with a whole New Look who wows the Whole Warehouse Audience. Also, Sui likes a Jock she dated and tries to get more of his Attention but ends in carnage as Jane makes the squad for Football.
Jane decides to take the SAT's so she won't be like her Alcoholic Uneducated Mother so she can go to College and get Grades, when She and Neal Cheat on the exam, Thye must face the Consequences by the Schoolboard. Ben's Date is a Girl named Alana who Bid on Him to get closer but she gets Mauled by a dog and Breakup and Cray bidder is a Oldlady who asks him to do choirs including Mowing.
Cray turns 13 and starts to find a date, but Gets Nervous the First Time and gets Ben and Jane to help him look good. He asks a Girl at the mall on a date which she accepts but the date goes Useless and ends in disaster. Meanwhile, Karen finds the Replacement Marci Needed at the Warehouse when the Other Blakes needed her around the house.
Neal gets Invited to Kate's house for Dinner and meets Kate's Father, William Richard (James Avery, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air) a Lawyer, Tells Neal about her and soon after dinner William tells Kate that she should'nt see Neal Anymore and he soon finds out what's he did. Meanwhile, Marci buy Clothes from the Internet and gets Ben, Cray, Jane and Sui to model them at the Warehouse but did'nt notice that the Clothes Marci bought on the Internet were stolen and ends up with the Police.
When Cray comes Head to Head with a Bully at School, Jane and Neal teach Him Lessons on how to Fight and Protect himself from getting hit again.
Jane meets a thief on the Streets named Jesse, after she invities her home, Jane has been in the Garage and discovers Sui's Stolen Purse and gives the Purse back to Sui. But when Dave and Karen hear Jane's Conversation, they and the kids soon Discover Jesse in the Van and blames Jane for selling her out and runs away. Later, She, Ben and Neal went to the place she Discovered were Jesse lives and later gives her the Jacket Jane got from the Blake's for her second year with them and Jessie meets Jane at the Warehouse where Marci and Sui gave them a meal. Also, Cray becomes a star when he is picked by a Promoter for a Orange Juice Company but later finds out he's been Replaced by a Chimp.
Ben. Cray and Neal enter a Contest at the Warehouse to win a Car, Unfortunately Cray wins the Car but can't drive yet because he's only 13. When Ben and Neal try to steal it, they get arrested and taken in by the Police. Marci and Sui also get into a fight when Marci becomes better than Sui and the Two Sisters fight it out on who the best girl.
Jane asks the Blakes if they would adopt her and they are delighted. But when she sees how excited they get when they find out Karen is pregnant, she wonders if she will ever be loved and accepted like a ""real"" daughter. Also, Neal tries to ""dumb down"" to the level of a girl he's attracted to.
Cray Develops a crush on Becky whos started working at The Warehouse, When He and Becky are out on a date, She starts to fall for Ben and gets out of Control and Cray catches Becky hugging him and Ben tells Cray he would'nt take his Girl. Meanwhile, Jane tries out for Kickboxing when a Promter discovers her and she Becomes a Wrestler, but she'll have to go down to Lunachick who's also The Promoters Wife to earn the money.
Dave goes on strike in this episode. When the strike goes on longer than originally expected, Dave is forced to take a temporary job at Corn Dog World. At the end of the episode, the strike ends, and Dave mentions that the workers received a better pay and benefit package.
Neal and Ben land jobs as film critics for the local cable access channel but the forecast for Sui's new career as the station's new weather girl is cloudy when she must decide how to deal with sexual harrassment from her boss. Meanwhile, Cray considers piercing his ear and getting a tatoo in order to impress a girl at school.
Jane applys for a Job at Barnacle Bob's when she meets a Rookie Cop named Patrick, but Patrick's Actions to Jane go Serious as He learns about Stalking. Dave Moves in with Cray and Neal after Karen has no sleep because of his Snoring.
Marci wants more than anything to win the salsa dance contest at The Wherehouse but she is faced with a difficult choice between partnering with her new boyfriend Octavio who has two left feet or risk hurting his feelings by entering the contest with a better dancer. Meanwhile, a grounded Neal has some sense knocked in to him, literally, when goes against his better judgement and sneaks out of the house with Jane and Ben to see a baseball game where he gets beaned by a foul ball.
Dave and Karen leave the Blake Children the House while there gone for the Weekend, Cray asks them to help find his Birth Family for his Project which the other kids agree to help when Jane Returned and The Van's Valve Blew and would take them $300 to Fix it and Marci comes up with an Idea to turn to Blake's Household into a Bed and Breakfast because it's Superbowl Weekend in Miami and all the hotels are full. The Kids collect Unused stuff so that the Bed and Breakfast thing can work and put Fliers around Miami so People can know where they can Relax, Cray helps Neal search more about his Family on the Internet to know which Family he was born and later in Dave and Karen's Room finds a Box and Founds Cray's Birth Certificate saying he was Born in Fort Lauderdale. Sui talks Jane into going on a last-minute double date with her. Jane likes her date Ralph, even though she tells him that she hates his name. After a second date with Ralph, Jane comes home looking disheveled but she won't talk about what happened. The other family members notice bruises on Jane and they assume that Ralph is responsible. Ben, Neal and Cray confront Ralph. He tells them they had a fight, but it was Jane who attacked him and he just defended himself. The Blakes have an intervention with Jane and she confesses that her last foster father, who was named Ralph, used to beat her and that just the mention of the name triggered a violent reaction in her. Also, Marcy is trying to arrange a dinner at the Warehouse for Dave and Karen as Foster Parents of the Year, but things keep going wrong. The rest of the family pitches in to help pull the dinner off.
