It was a “sales pitch” to my co-hosts to show them what an episode would be like, and to see how difficult it was to produce a video review. It was done on Windows Movie Maker. • “Black Saturday” refers to the day WWF took over the World Championship Wrestling timeslot from GCW. The failure of McMahon’s venture on Turner Broadcasting lead to the Monday Night Wars. • This pre-dates Acceptable in the 80s! “Metroid Metal – Intro” was originally chosen. • I originally wanted to call the episodes “Video Classic Reviews” so I could call them VCRs. It’s called this in the credits! • The “Aftermath” section was called the “Gauntlet” (after Epic Battle Axe) and was originally intended to be a ‘current wrestling’ segment. Since episodes were long enough already, it was turned into a wrap-up segment. • It’s literally the first thing I ever recorded. Please be kind! It’s quite cringe-worthy to me as you can hear me trying to crack jokes with no-one to work with.
