The pilot episode, which eventually became "Rollercoaster", is much different from the original pitch pilot. It contains colored storyboards, temporary music and sound effects, and completed voice lines that are mostly left unchanged in the final episode with a few deleted lines. This is unlike the pitch pilot, which has Dan Povenmire voicing all of the characters and explaining the storyline with black and white storyboards. It also contains a few similarities with the original pitch, such as the characters having their initial color schemes and Doofenshmirtz being called Middleschmirtz. Only the last minute and fifteen seconds are fully animated.
