Wes gets a terse reunion with his father, when he discovers he's funding a for-hire protection force known as the Silver Guardians. One of them happens to be Wes' prep schoolmate, Eric, who's had a grudge against him for years, believing Wes' gotten everything handed to him while he's had to work hard for it. When the X-Vault mutant Univolt strikes, endangering the Guardians, will Wes put his life, and his secret identity, on the line to save his father's latest money-making scheme?
