เป็นเรื่องราวของหม่อมเจ้าหญิงผู้สูงศักดิ์ผู้หลบหนีหม่อมแม่ที่จะแต่งงาน มาเป็นพีเลี้ยงของ "คุณแจ๋ว" น้องสาวพิการของคุณหมอภรตผู้เฉยชาในปราสาทใหญ่แต่เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องลึกลับ เธอได้รับการปองร้ายจากแม่บ้าน "ป้าแช่ม" และลูกสาวคือ "กัญญา" โดยมีคุณหมอภะรตคอยช่วยเหลือจนสนิทสนมและแอบหลงรักกัน
