Meg, eine Studentin von Sydney, hat von ihrer Freundin Christie einen Glücksbringer geschenkt bekommen: ein Amulett, das sie im Wald gefunden hat. Doch als Meg die Kette umlegt, wird sie ohnmächtig und fällt in ein Tod bringendes Fieberdelirium. Sydney und Nigel inspizieren darauf den Fundort des magischen Amuletts im Wald und finden ein Pentagramm im Boden. Ihre weiteren Recherchen führen zu der einst berühmten Hexe Sunna, die verbrannt wurde und sich nun rächen will.

Event: NEW ENGLAND COLONIES 1692 A.D. Hundreds of years in the past a Wiccan ceremony is interrupted by the locals. In the present, the amulet used in the ceremony is given to Sydney's student Meg, who recites the incantation and goes into a coma. Sydney and Nigel look into the matter and discover the amulet has mystical powers, and will grant the person who invokes it correctly great magical powers. Someone else, a friend of Meg's boyfriend named Blake, is also looking for the amulet and manages to procure it from Karen using hypnotic/magical powers. A seerest, Zanda, warns that they need the amulet to restore Meg. Blake is indeed a warlock, the son of the man who interrupted the opening ceremony, and he has used his magical powers to augment his fraternity house, Nu Theta Phi. Sydney and Nigel manage to interrupt the ceremony in the secret catacombs of the frat house, defeat, Blake, and restore Meg to normal.

Sydney e Nigel scoprono che l'amuleto possiede dei poteri magici, che possono essere a loro volta donati al suo possessore attraverso una particolare invocazione. Un altro studente, Blake, è anch'egli alla ricerca dell'amuleto ed usa i suoi poteri ipnotici per sottrarre l'amuleto dalle mani di Karen. Una veggente di nome Zanda aiuta Sydney e Nigel, i quali pensavano di usare l'amuleto per salvare Meg. Blake è uno stregone ed è il discendente dell'uomo che interruppe la cerimonia del passato. Egli ha usato i suoi poteri per aumentare la popolarità della sua confraternita, la Nu Theta Phi. Sydney e Nigel debbono interrompere una cerimonia che si sta per svolgere in alcune segrete della confraternita, sconfiggere Blake e risvegliare la studentessa Meg dal coma.
