Egídio is uncomfortable with his daughter's presence, and argues with Dona Patroa. Dona Patroa scolds Sandra for locking the college away. Eriberto finds Neno and Pitoco, and says he is looking for Du. João Pedro helps Sandra, who is having difficulty taming the horse. The two meet, but João Pedro walks away as soon as Sandra tells him that she is Egídio's daughter.
