Toyotomi Hideyoshi steht kurz davor, das Reich zu vereinen. Nur noch die Odawara Burg, welche vom "Löwen von Sagami" Ujiyasu Houjou verteidigt wird, leistet ihm Widerstand. Die von Hideyoshi persönlich trainierten Generäle Ishida Mitsunari, Katou Kiyomasa und Fukushima Masanori — wie auch Ootani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon und Naoe Kanetsugu stehen an der Front. Innerhalb der Schlachtverbände befinden sich auch zwei junge Krieger des Sanada-Haushalts, Nobuyuki und sein jüngerer Bruder Yukimura. Als sich die Pattsituation in der Schlacht schließlich beginnt aufzulösen, stürzt sich Yukimura mit seinem Pferd mitten ins Getümmel, mit seinem Bruder dicht hinter ihm.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi is on the verge of unifying the realm, and all that remains is the Odawara Castle protected by the "Lion of Sagami" Ujiyasu Houjou. Hideyoshi's personally trained generals—Ishida Mitsunari, Katou Kiyomasa, and Fukushima Masanori—as well as Ootani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon, and Naoe Kanetsugu are all on the frontline of the battle. Amidst the battle formation are the two young warriors of the Sanada household: older brother Nobuyuki and younger brother Yukimura. As the stalemate begins to break down, Sanada Yukimura rides on a lone horse into the fray. His brother follows him right after.

L'histoire de Sengoku Musou (Samurai Warriors) se déroule durant la période Sengoku et met en scène des personnages, réels ou légendaires, ayant combattus à cette époque. La série se focalisera sur les frères Sanada, engagés dans des camps différents pour la survie de leur clan.

世は戦国時代。日本は混乱の時代に陥り、各地で激しい勢力争いが行われている中、どこまでも共に戦い抜こうと誓った兄弟がいた――。
