「SAND LAND: THE SERIES」は、深刻な水不足にあえぐ砂漠の国・サンドランドが舞台の冒険ファンタジー。ワルだけどピュアな悪魔の王子・ベルゼブブと、正義感溢れる人間の保安官・ラオ、王子に振り回されるお目付け役のシーフが、水不足にあえぐ人々を救うため、砂漠のどこかにある“幻の泉”を探す旅へと向かう。

(The anime series will feature unreleased clips from the SAND LAND anime film, famous scenes from the original manga, and a new story created by Toriyama that continues from the film.) In a futuristic world known as Sand Land, the only river that fed the whole world has suddenly dried up and the only source of drinking water is in the possession of the king who does not hesitate to charge exorbitant prices. Demons and humans live together in this drought world until Sheriff Lao informs Beelzebub of the possible existence of a fountain, which could provide for both humans and demons. Beelzebub and his friend Thief decide to accompany him in search of this resource.
