Keith (Bill Hader) writes a heartfelt letter to his sister while Dave (Andy Samberg) asks what he's doing—then suddenly shoots him without reason. In slow motion, to the dramatic strains of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek,” Keith collapses, only to recover just long enough to shoot Dave back. Both lie on the ground as Eric (Shia LaBeouf) enters, claiming he just thought of something funny—before Dave rises again and shoots him in the stomach. As the song restarts, Eric drops. Keith’s sister (Kristen Wiig) then arrives and begins reading the letter aloud, only to be shot multiple times by each of the men on the ground, with each shot triggering yet another reset of the song. Finally, two police officers (Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen) discover the scene and read the letter, which has predicted every shooting so far—including theirs. Laughing it off, they shoot each other simultaneously as the song crescendos one last time.
