In Los Angeles erfahren Jerry und George, daß ihr Freund Kramer verdächtigt wird, ein Serienmörder zu sein. Kramer, der verhaftet wird, gibt sich völlig sorglos, weiß er doch, daß er unschuldig ist. Leider glaubt ihm das niemand - außer Jerry und George...
Jerry and George try to contact the police to tell them Kramer is innocent. Kramer still doesn't know he's wanted. Jerry and George get a ride in a police car and while en route the officers pick up a possible 519. The 519 suspect is put in the back of the car with George and Jerry and they ask him tipping advice. Then all units are called in on Kramer's building, Jerry and George leave the police car door open and the 519 suspect escapes. While Kramer is in for questioning, another victim is found. He is let go and Jerry and George want to know what he is going to do, he is going to stay in LA. Jerry and George are back in New York and Kramer turns up like nothings changed.

Per un equivoco Kramer è accusato di essere un maniaco omicida e viene messo agli arresti. Jerry e George tentano di scagionarlo e telefonano alla polizia dicendo di avere importanti rivelazioni sul conto del killer, mettendosi così a loro volta in una brutta situazione...
Enquanto procuravam Kramer em Los Angeles, Jerry e George são levados para interrogatório pela Polícia, que suspeita que Kramer é um conhecido assassino em série conhecido como o desconhecido do nevoeiro.
Jerry y George intentan convencer a la policía de que Kramer es inocente. Mientras, éste sigue sin sospechar que es el hombre más buscado de la ciudad. Una nueva víctima acaba de aparecer... Jerry y George quieren saber si Kramer va a volver a Nueva York con ellos.
