Þáttaröð í umsjón Egils Helgasonar þar sem saga Siglufjarðar er rakin. Bærinn var lengi utan alfaraleiðar en vegna mikils uppgangs á 20. öld varð hann þungamiðja síldveiða sem um skeið voru arðvænlegasta atvinnugrein á Íslandi.
