Pariah

Bei einem Einsatz ist Starsky gezwungen zu schießen und tötet dabei einen 16-jährigen Jungen. Daraufhin wird er von einem Unbekannten unter Druck gesetzt. Der will erreichen, dass Starsky den Polizeidienst quittiert.

When Starsky and Hutch deal with an armed hold-up, in self defence Starsky is forced to shoot one of the felons - who turns out to be a 16-year-old youth. An enquiry into the incident is held and Starsky is cleared of any wrong-doing, and he and Hutch set out to find who supplied the teenager with the gun. But a mad-man who's son was previously knifed to death in a jail cell after Starsky arrested him, begins killing cops, demanding Starsky's resignation, and promising that the killings will continue until Starsky complies...

Au cours d'un hold-up, un jeune homme masqué tente de s'enfuir malgré les sommations de la police. Il fait volte-face et met en joue Starsky. Pour se protéger lui-même et la foule, Starsky est forcé d'abattre ce suspect qui se révèle être un jeune homme de 16 ans : Lonnie Craig. Les témoins de cette scène confirment que cet homicide était inévitable. Néanmoins un dénommé Prudholm abat deux agents de police et avertit le département de police que d'autres mourront si Starsky n'est pas éliminé...

Durante un conflitto seguito ad una rapina, Starsky uccide uno dei rapinatori. Lui e Hutch finiscono sotto inchiesta e anche nel mirino di un folle assassino.

Starsky és Hutch egy fegyveres rabláshoz szállnak ki, amikor Starsky önvédelemből kénytelen lelőni az egyik elkövetőt, akiről kiderül, hogy csak tizenhat éves. A rendőrségi vizsgálat tisztázza Starskyt, egy bosszúra éhes apa azonban, akinek a fiát a börtönben megkéselték, miután Starsky letartóztatta, rendőröket kezd gyilkolni, és Starsky bűnhődését követeli.
