Za Frankem přijíždí Scooter, jeho nejlepší přítel z dětství. Daně a Carol se nelíbí nejen jeho životní styl, ale především nepříliš civilizované chování a negativní vliv na Franka. Poté, co Scooter vezme JTho na návštěvu do striptýzového klubu, dojde i Frankovi trpělivost. Cody vyhraje krocana Elmera.
Frank zieht mit seinem alten Freund Scooter durch die Kneipen. Als Scooter dann aber auch J.T. in eine Stripbar einschleust, platzt Frank der Kragen. Frank freut sich. Sein alter Kumpel Scooter hat seinen Besuch angekündigt. Die beiden haben sich seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr gesehen. Als Scooter schließlich auftaucht, muss Carol feststellen, dass er ein ziemlich rüder Typ ist. Sie befürchtet das Schlimmste. Doch sie kann nicht verhindern, dass ihr Mann mit seinem alten Freund um die Häuser zieht. Scooter schleppt Frank schließlich in eine Stripbar. Als er jedoch auch J.T. in diesen Nachtclub schleust, hat er aus Franks Sicht eine Grenze überschritten. Frank erklärt Scooter, dass er J.T.t eine Frau und Kinder habe, und dass er sich mit ihnen sehr wohl fühle. Scooter versteht und verschwindet. Carol ist gerührt, denn J.T.t weiß sie endlich, wie viel ihrem Mann die Familie bedeutet.
Frank's old friend Scooter comes to visit. Frank starts off excited that his high school buddy is coming, but it turns out that Scooter still acts like he is in high school. In order to tell Scooter to leave, Frank tells him how he has become a better man because of his marriage to Carol.
Cody wins a turkey at the local supermarket's raffle. Unfortunately, the turkey comes live and Cody can not bear to kill it. He names the turkey Elmer and gets him a job at the petting zoo.
Carol est agacée quand son mari Frank Lambert reçoit la visite impromptue d'un ami d'enfance, Scooter Randolph. Scooter est un marginal, divorcé quatre fois, qui n'a jamais fait carrière dans quelque domaine que ce soit et n'a jamais gardé un travail très longtemps. Non seulement Carol est mécontente de le voir dormir sur le sofa pendant plusieurs nuits, mais elle déplore que son irresponsabilité déteigne sur les enfants...
