Danin přítel Daniel režíruje v místním divadle Shakespearova Romea a Julii a Daně svěří právě hlavní hrdinku. Cody ve volném čase pro Daniela vyrábí kulisy a protože ten objeví jeho talent, svěří mu roli Romea. Tím ovšem dožene Danu k nepříčetnosti, ta svoji roli odbývá a nijak se nesnaží svůj odpor vůči Codymu skrýt. Až to, že se jí Cody zastane, když kvůli tomu chce Daniel změnit obsazení, ji přiměje se nad vším zamyslet. Frank ztratil v autě svůj snubní prstýnek a Carol jej v průšvihu nechá pořádně vymáchat.
Frank gerät in Schwulitäten, als er beim Golfen seinen Ehering verliert, und Dana will aus Liebe zu einem Regisseur Shakespeares Julia spielen und sieht sich plötzlich Romeo Cody gegenüber! Peinlich, peinlich – Frank verliert beim Golfspielen seinen Ehering. Nun muss er sich ganz schön anstrengen, damit Carol nichts von dem Missgeschick mitbekommt. Schließlich bleibt ihm nichts anderes übrig, als sich einen neuen Ring zu kaufen. Was er nicht weiß: Auch Carol spielt ein doppeltes Spiel, denn niemand anders als sie hat den Ring gefunden … Auch Dana erwärmt sich fürs Schauspiel. Allerdings nur, weil sie sich in Regisseur Daniel verguckt hat. Keine Frage, dass sie bei seiner „Romeo und Julia“-Inszenierung mit von der Partie sein muss. Schade nur, dass ausgerechnet Cody den Romeo gibt. Aber J.T.t gibt es kein Zurück mehr für „Julia“ alias Dana.
Dana's new boyfriend, Daniel, convinces her to be in a local play he is directing. Coincidentally, Cody is working on the set of the show and Daniel convinces Cody to join the acting team as well. They become Romeo and Juliet, and Dana is unable to do a good job, because she cannot see any redeeming qualities in Cody. Then Daniel fires Dana saying, ""The show is the most important thing."" Cody then quits saying, ""People are the most important thing""; which Dana finds ""loyal, generous, and giving."" She finally sees redeeming qualities in Cody.
Le nouveau petit ami de Dana, Daniel, met en scène "Romeo et Juliette" au théâtre local. Dana est sur-excitée, car Daniel lui a confié le rôle principal, celui de Juliette. Mais elle apprend aussi que son beau-frère, Cody jouera le rôle de Romeo...
