Cody opravuje motorky a za jakoukoli práci si účtuje 9$. To se příliš nelíbí JTmu a tak za pomoci Řezníka získá úvěr aby s Codym mohl začít podnikat. Najme mechaniky a sebe ustaví ředitelem. Carol a Frank spolu soupeří, kdo dá tomu druhému k výročí lepší dárek a nakonec se kvůli takové hlouposti ošklivě pohádají. Oba je usmíří Brendan, který jim věnuje vlastnoručně vyrobené přání.
Cody ist begeisterter Hobbymechaniker. J.T. will ihn gegen seinen Willen ganz groß ins Geschäft bringen. Cody entwickelt sich zum gefragtesten Mechaniker der Gegend, doch bescheiden wie er ist, nimmt er für jede Reparatur nur neun Dollar. J.T. will Codys Geschäftssinn schärfen und plant eine gemeinsame Werkstatt, um richtig Karriere zu machen. Halbherzig willigt der Wundermechaniker ein, doch schon bald ist er todunglücklich. Währenddessen hat Frank wieder mal Ärger mit Carol, denn er hat tatsächlich schon wieder ihren Hochzeitstag vergessen. Nun heißt es auf die Schnelle ein tolles Geschenk auftreiben.
JT discovers that although Cody is the best motorcycle repairman in town, he charges everyone $9. JT convinces him to start his own business with a bigger shop. Cody has trouble getting a loan until Slasher ""convinces"" the banker by threatening to move his multi-million dollar account elsewhere. Cody, however, does not like the new business because he does not get to work on the bikes himself.
Frank and Carol are celebrating an anniversary and again are fighting over presents. This time they agree to buy a present, but to limit it to $25. Both exceed the limit and end up struggling to buy a more expensive present than the other one.
Brendan makes them an anniversary card, because he did not have the money to buy one. This ends the struggle.
Cody est un as en mécanique et adore réparer les motos de ses amis. Mais il demande en retour trop peu d'argent, et ne tire aucun bénéfice de son travail.
