Yamato tries to figure out what to do now that Honoka has refused his birthday present for her. His friends suggest apologizing to her but Yamato is hesitant. Eventually he tries to call her and then heads over to Honoka's house, which results in one of those talks regarding the relationship. At home, Yamato receives a visit by the college girls who probe a bit on what just happened, while Suzuka overhears and tries to understand as well, but Yamato tells Suzuka his side of the story, and it wasn't what she expected.
涼風との買い物が原因で、萌果にプレゼントを突き返されてしまった大和。萌果と関係を修復しようとするが、萌果は話を聞きたくないと大和を避けるのだった。一方、涼風は、二人の関係が気まずくなったのは自分のせいだと責任を感じ、大和に謝る。「萌果に嫌われたのでは」と落ち込む大和に、涼風は「ケンカしてても頑張って話しかけてくれたら嬉しい」とアドバイスする。大和は、思い切って萌果の家を尋ねる。
Yamato tente de présenter son cadeau à Honoka, mais une dispute éclate entre eux concernant leur relation. Honoka suggère une rupture, et Yamato accepte à contrecœur. Avant de se quitter, Honoka accepte le cadeau et lui offre un baiser d'adieu. Plus tard, Yamato informe Suzuka de la rupture, mais déforme la vérité, ce qui la contrarie profondément.
