Daphne and Bay plan the perfect birthday for Emmett - an ASL zombie movie shoot with their friends and family. While Emmett is excited about the event, he's also torn up inside about what happened with Simone and how it will hurt Bay. Simone wants to keep what happened between her and Emmett a secret, but someone finds out and threatens to expose their secret. Meanwhile, Kathyrn is devastated to find out that John has been revealing some secrets of their own and Regina has second thoughts about contributing to Kathyrn's book.

Kathryn ist bestürzt als sie erfährt, dass John einige Geheimnisse hat. Regina zweifelt ob sie sich wirklich an Kathryns Buch beteiligen soll.

Bay et Daphné décident de tourner le film « la nuit des sourds vivants », un film d'horreur pour sourds et malentendants dont le script a été écrit il y a longtemps par Emmett et Daphné. Il s’agira d'un cadeau d'anniversaire pour Emmett et tout le monde s'investit dans le projet.
Pendant le tournage, Wilk découvre que Simone et Emmett ont eu une relation. Choqué, il décide de ne pas en parler à Toby pour l'instant.
De son côté, Emmett se confie à sa mère Mélody. Il regrette ses actes et doit prendre la décision d'informer ou pas sa petite amie, Bay.
Kathryn voit rouge lorsqu'elle apprend que John a parlé de sa fausse couche à Sarah Lazar, et qu'elle a décidé d'en parler dans son livre.
