Episode 2 begins at the coupled guys' resort, Captain Morgan's Retreat (CMR). Flashbacks reveal escapades from the night before as the single ladies pursue the guys, especially Billy. Mark wonders if the men are experiencing butterflies. Later that morning, Mandy, Ytossie, Shannon and Valerie meet Mark at Mata Chica. Much like their partners, the women are experiencing some first date butterflies. Shannon, in particular, is so nervous that she can't eat breakfast. Mark tells the women that their blind dates (four single guys) will be coming to pick them up at their cabanas shortly. On the other side of the island, the coupled men do the same. Shannon listens as Andy tells her he had a great first date. She is a little put off because she doesn't want to have a ""mental picture"" of Andy with another woman. In her video message, Shannon advises her boyfriend not to ""focus on one"" of the single girls. Andy understands and says he's more than happy to ""spread myself thin."" Valerie is confused by Kaya's proclamation that he is having a ""really"" good time. His hope that she's not ""limiting herself"" sticks in her mind, and she wonders, ""What does that mean?"" Her anxiety gets Valerie's wheels spinning about what footage of her Kaya might have seen -if Kaya has seen her Jacuzzi jump, he might retaliate. Shannon cautioned ""what you learn out of context is only going to destroy you."" Mandy fears she is about to throw away a year and a half of an amazing relationship with Billy. Returning to Captain Morgan's Retreat, Billy, Kaya, and Andy are indeed concerned about the after-hours activities at their partners' resort.
