From there, the miniseries charts the soap operas of Bill Clinton's nomination and Roseanne Barr's fights with her network; the unlikely rise of Vanilla Ice and Kurt Cobain; and the revolutionary broadcasts that transformed the LA Riots, the Anita Hill hearings and the trial of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer into major TV events.
