It's the Gibsons Annual Salmon Derby and Sara has her heart set on winning the third prize for kids - a cowboy suit. Relic and Mcloskey hatch an elaborate hoax to ensure first prize for themselves - and take the innocent Sara along to witness their fraudulent "catch."
