Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner) hat kurz vor ihrer Hochzeit mit Steve Austin, dem "Sechs Millionen Dollar Mann", einen schweren Unfall. Industrialist Carlton Harris has discovered Jaime's bionic powers and arranges several secret "tests" so that he can film her in action. When Oscar realizes what is happening, he arranges a "falling out" with Jaime so that she can go to work for Carlton, who is suspected of selling government secrets. While stealing secrets for Carlton in an effort to gather evidence against him, Jaime befriends the industrialist's son, Donald, a law student who is bothered by his father's illegal activities.
Jaimie revient à Ojai, après avoir subit une opération chirurgicale qui lui a partiellement redonnée la mémoire. Elle essaie de s'habituer à sa nouvelle vie. Victime d'un accident, Oscar pense qu'on essaie de la tuer...
El industrial Carlton Harris ha descubierto poderes biónicos de Jaime y organiza varias "pruebas" secretas para que pueda filmarla en acción. Cuando Oscar se da cuenta de lo que está sucediendo, él organiza una "pelea" con Jaime para que ella pueda ir a trabajar para Carlton, que es sospechoso de vender secretos del gobierno. Si bien el robo de secretos de Carlton, en un esfuerzo para reunir pruebas en su contra, se hace amigo de Jaime, hijo del industrial, Donald, un estudiante de derecho que se molestó por las actividades ilegales de su padre.
