After the execution of Captain Crigg by Zordrak, he appointed Sgt Blob to be in charge of Operation Dreamstone. Meanwhile in the Land of Dreams, a Noop called Rufus was fired from Wacks Wicks Works for daydreaming, and had eventually ran out of job ideas. His friend Amberley, suggested that he should be a Dream Maker, in which he was hired and shown around by the Dream Maker and his assistant, Albert. After being shown the ropes, the Dream Maker decided to showed Rufus the Dreamstone as a secret, and was promised not to tell anyone. Back in Viltheed, Sgt Blob hired Frizz and Nug for Operation Dreamstone, before getting into the latest attack vehicle, the Whirleyped. From within, they set off through the Mist of Limbo to steal the Dreamstone in the Land of Dreams. Whilst the Dream Maker was having a nap, Rufus was told to wash the Dream Bottles as his duty, but was then distracted when Amberley appeared to see how he was getting on. Rufus tried to impress Amberley by showing her the Dreamstone, only for it to be stolen by the Urpneys, along with Amberley when trying to get back the Dreamstone.
Rufus resolves to redeem himself by getting the Dreamstone back from Zordrak, and to rescue Amberley, who is now putting up quite a fight in Viltheed. Sgt Blob presents their winnings to a gleeful Zordrak, who drops the stone into the pit of his pet Frazznats to be lost forever, and turns Amberley to stone after making too much of a scene. He then releases his Argorribles into the Land Of Dreams, which is now vulnerable to their nightmares. Rufus meanwhile met up with Pildit and spent the night with the Wuts, guardians of the land, only for him to be awoken by Pildit, chasing away an argoribble. The following morning, they begin their mission. Pildit gave Rufus a magic leaf for them to fly through the Mist of Limbo to get to Viltheed, but on the way, they had to confront the Urpneys in their Whirleyped, sent by Zordrak, and armed with the Egg of Death. After losing the Whirleyped in a canyon, Pildit and Rufus were then buried in a landslide created by Zordrak's fury, who then started to celebrate, along with the Urpneys to Rufus and Pildit's defeat. Rufus survived, but is devastated at having seemingly lost Pildit in the landslide. After sneaking into Zordrak's lair, he managed to happen upon Amberley's stone body, breaking it's spell by tears of love. Now reunited, the Noops managed to retrieve the Dreamstone from the Frazznats pit. As the Noops were being chased by the Urpneys, they were then saved in a nick of time by Pildit, who had also survived the landslide. The Noops then escaped with Pildit and returned back to the Dream Maker's house as heroes, whilst Zordrak plots on how to get the Dreamstone back.

Urpgor creates a device which uses Zordrak's voice to hypnotise any who hear it, Rufus attempts to stop Urpgor.
Rufus's duty to the protection of the Dreamstone is put to the test when Albert is fishnapped by The Urpneys. Zordrak demands the Dreamstone be handed over in exchange for the dog-fish, Rufus must contemplate the global damage if he should exchange the Dreamstone for his best freind.
Urpgor invents a Shrinking device which reduces Blob, Frizz, and Nug to a miniture state. The three Uprneys infiltrate the land of Dreams, because of their small size, they run into several mis-haps such as being lifted by a bird, falling down pipe shafts, and Blob getting trapped in Dream Bottles with little Oxygen. However, the Urpneys are able to finally penetrate the Dream Maker's house and steal the Dreamstone, but when Albert swallows the Shrink ray, things get a little out of hand...
Determined to win Zordrak's approval, Sergeant Blob, Frizz and Nug steal Urpgor's Mean Mole machine and drill their way to the Land of Dreams, but on arrival, they are quickly spotted by Pildit, who alerts The Dream Maker in time. Replacing the Dreamstone with a false one created from three dream bubbles, Rufus, Amberly and the Dream Maker await the Urpney's arrival and spring a very ""nasty"" suprise for them...
The Dreammaker has new candles delivered to him, but the results are explosive when the candles are revealed to be devastating bombs sent by Zordrak.
It's Rufus and Amberley's day off and the DreamMaker has made them a little something, A Daydream bubble in which anything they wish for comes true. But as they are having fun, Blob, Frizz and Nug all get fired out of Urpgor's cannon and end up inside it with no clue as to what is going on.
Zordrak decides to add Wildit, leader of the Wutts, to his own personal collection of statues, who were once living beings who were turned to stone by the evil Lord of Nightmares.
Zordrak unleashes his Agorrible forces on Land of Dreams, ordering them to take the Dreamstone before nightfall, Rufus fights back.
Zordrak unleashes his Urpney troops and personally leads them in a final atttack on the Land of Dreams, only the power of Planet Dreamstone can stop him
After his defeat in ""Megaattack"", Zordrak crash-lands on a desolate asteroid, where he finds an energy crystal capable of causing nightmares, he names this crystal the Nightmare Stone and returns to the land of nightmares. He makes plans to replace the Dreamstone with the Nightmare Stone inside the Dream Maker's tower, and cause the noops and all of the world's populance to suffer from eternal nightmares
Blob, Frizz and Nug accidently free Zordrak’s sister Zarag from a thousand year imprisonment in a bottle
Whilst testing out a viking-style assault ship to use against the Noops, Urpgor comes across an island that rises from the ocean, he uses the island as a base of attack, and becomes warped by the riches found within it... Urpgor belives he has found the perfect base of operations where noone can touch him, not Rufus, not the Noops, and ESPECIALLY not Zordrak...
Urpgor creates a robotic bird which carries a beutiful, but hynoptic song, that will tempt the Dreammaker into using it in his Dream Bubbles, with the Land of Dreams in a trance, the Bird will then take the Dreamstone
The Dreamstone needs re-energised, The Dreammaker, Rufus and Amberly take it to Planet Dreamstone, but Blob, Frizz and Nugg are in pursuit, they attempt to lay several traps for the heros, but each backfires. Eventually, Blob and his troops confront the Noops and the Dreammaker after they have re-powered the Dreamstone, but the resulting conflict strands both parties on the dark side of the Planet
Rufus journeys to Viltheed to seek out a cure for an illness that is killing Albert
Blob unleashes one of Urpgor's old inventions on the Land of Dreams
Zordrak has to recharge his power and leaves Urpgor in charge until he can return, Rufus takes the Dreamstone to a picnic, but is invited out with Spildit.
Zordrak comands the Urpneys to wipe out the Wutts, Sgt. Blob deploys special bugs which devour all of the Wutts' flying leaves and they soon begin attacking the entire forest. Only the power of Wildit's magic whistle, capable of controlling all of the Wutts' leaves and the forest animals, can save the day, but he is away teaching Rufus and Amberly flying lessons and is unaware of the destruction...
Rufus bakes a cake resembling The Dreamstone in preperation for the annual Noop Sport's Day, but he accidently spoils the cake. He puts the real Dreamstone on display until he can bake a new one, but this leaves The Dreamstone vulnerable to the Urpneys...
Urpgor creates a mechanical Beaver to cut down the trees in the Wut Forest, the Uprneys then use the wood to construct a dam which cuts off the water needed for the Dream Bottle Trees
The Nightmare Stone returns from Space, and Zordrak again begins using it to send his Argorribles into other people's dreams, Rufus, Amberly, and Pildit journey to Viltheed, and ally with Uprgor to destroy the Nightmare Stone once and for all...
Zordrak and the Urpneys become trapped on the Nightmare Planet following the destruction of Viltheed in ""Return of the Nightmare Stone"", now they must find a way to return and rebuild thier palace Rufus and Amberly meanwhile are looking after Amberly's cousin, with disastrous consequences
When Urpgor creates a tractor beam to use in an attempt to capture the Dreamstone, he realises he needs more electric eggs to power the device. The only mammal to produce such Eggs is the Battery Fish, so Blob and his men are deployed to capture it, Albert and Spildit come to the rescue, and the Battery Fish develops strong feelings for Albert during thier battle....
The Moon of Doom, a source of great evil, has returend to orbit, and should Zordrak get his hands on it, he will be able to spread even more terrifying and unstoppable nightmares into the world.
Zarag needs servants, to accomplish this, she creates obiediance drops to put every Noop they infect under her control
Urpgor sends The Urpneys into the Dreambeams being sent to every child on Earth, so that they can wreak havok within children's dreams.
Urpgor asks his Auntie for Time Crystals found on her homeworld of Tempus Fugit to use in an experiment to send The Urpneys back in time to snatch The Dreamstone when it is left unguarded. Blob, Frizz and Nug journey to the planet to collect the crystals, but they are followed into space by a curious Rufus and Amberley...
The Urpneys attack the Bottle Tree Roots, home of the ferocious Wottles
When the Dreammaker's sunshine-collecting Mirror becomes drained, Rufus and Amberley take it to Mirror Lake to be restored, but they soon come across danger
Urpgor decides to retreive the Dreamstone himself rather than deploy Sgt. Blob and his bungling Uprneys, but even the scientest finds retreiving the Stone...""difficult""
When one of Zordrak's earliest creations, Neemod, is unleashed again, determined to find The Dreamstone to use for his own purposes.
One of Mr. Blossom's prised plants begins to wither, The Dreammaker sends Rufus and Amberly to the far side of the lake to find the ""Grow Rock"", which can cure the plant. Meanwhile, in the Land of Nightmares, Viltheed suffers a power cut and loses it's heating, Urpogor sends Sgt. Blob, Frizz and Nug to recover ""Firerock"" from Viltheed's mountains to restore the heat to the tower, but the Urpneys soon encounter problems with the miners in the Fire Rock mines, who have not yet been paid for the last amount of Firerock they extracted for Zordrak's lackeys...
Urpgor's niece, Urpip has arrived, and is immediately used by her uncle in a devious scheme to enter the Land of Dreams using a new Noop suit he has designed. But Urpip wants to take the Dreamstone for herself and flees using one of Urpgor's submarines, disguised as a Noop, she begins causing trouble that even the real Noops find diffucult to deal with.
Urpgor has created a ship capable of transporting the entire Uprney army to the Land of Dreams, but a rare mineral is needed to power it, Zordrak sends Urpgor, Blob and his men to the nest of the mystical Jolly Bird, where the mineral is located However, Rufus, Amberly and Spildit are on thier way to the Jolly Bird's lair, hoping that a tickle from the Bird's feathers will cheer a saddened Spildit up, and soon a confrontation ensues which puts the Jolly Bird's eggs in terrible jeapordy..
In order to freshen up the troops, Blob orders them to swim in the Sea of Destruction, but this soon puts them into direct contact with the Urpjaws, a new, mechanical shark created by Urpgor Meanhwile, a meteor shower hits Planet Dreamstone, cracking it's energy supply cover, in order to repair the damage, The Dreammaker sends Rufus and Amberly into the Sea of Destruction to recover a special sand, but the Urpjaws lies in wait...
