The Fifth Estate is drilling into one of the biggest financial frauds in Canadian history - a story my colleague, producer Harvey Cashore, has been doggedly pursuing for years. We have been piecing together clues Harvey has collected to try to find money that was stolen from pensioners and everyday investors- revealing where it might have been hidden. When Harvey reached out to the reputed ringleader of the fraud, convicted in the crime and now out on parole, and asked him for an interview... well, we didn't expect a response.
