In the heart of the Forest of Dean on the edge of the Wye Valley in Gloucestershire, Alex Polizzi checks into the Farmer's Boy Inn, a roadside pub with rooms where a pie obsession runs deep. Owner Phil has owned the place for 25 years and has built its reputation around his famous pastry. The pub is doing decent trade, but the rooms sit largely empty.
