Donald has finally begun making headlines as a masked crime fighter, but one rescue in particular has him certain he is actions are predestined and that he has found the path to greatness. Jonas is convinced that Virginia and Donald's manipulation of time will have dire consequences. Virginia has her own reservations about opening her time portals for Donald and still carries a grudge against Jonas for using his powers of mind manipulation to sleep-hypnotize her into making out with him. Sebastian, the world's only multiplier, is still trying to come to terms with losing a large part of herself, since the 4th-her left to move in with her secret boyfriend. She still hasn't released the 3rd-her since 4 left because 3 and 4 were best friends and she desperately fears 3's reaction. When they suddenly learn that there are other super teams in Chicago, Donald sees it as another indication of their fate as a group, and hopes it's another puzzle piece in discovering the origins of their powers.
