Im Zoo gibt es einen Grund zur Freude: Pedro, der große Ameisenbär, soll endlich wieder mit seinem Partner Bliss vereint werden. Doch eine Krankheit sorgt für Komplikationen. Bei den Insekten geht es währenddessen gefährlich zu: Orchideenmantis Natasha hat fast sämtliche männlichen Artgenossen verspeist. Allein übrig geblieben ist Bruce, der sich jetzt mit Natasha fortpflanzen soll. Ob er dieses Unterfangen überleben wird?
