The Marios travel to Aqua Land, where King Koopa (Under the alias of Barra-Koopa) has enslaved the Mermushrooms, forcing them to steal treasure from all the sunken ships. Can the Super Mario Bros. win this battle of the bottom?

Mario et ses amis naviguent sous l'eau à bord d'un petit sous marin, quand ils aperçoivent une champi-sirène en danger. Ils la sauve, mais cette dernière leur apprend que Koopa a réduit tout son peuple en esclavage, y compris le Roi Neptune, souverains des profondeurs...
