Jason hat sich in Curt's Schwester Vanessa verliebt. Die junge Frau hat ihren Mann verlassen. Über die Musik kommen sich Vanessa und Jason näher. Der junge Walton-Sohn will nicht wahrhaben, daß Vanessa sich nicht halten läßt.
Jason falls in love with Vanessa, Curt's sister, who left her husband so she could become a singer. John-Boy begins to publish sections of his novel in the newspaper.
