As a new wave of guests arrive at the White Lotus, resort manager Armond tries to assuage an unreasonable Shane and his easy-going new wife Rachel, while spa director Belinda calms a grieving Tanya. Meanwhile, Nicole suggests her husband Mark distract himself from a health scare by spending time with their son Quinn, who’s been cast out by his sister Olivia and her friend Paula.
Stripped of his gadgets, Quinn reluctantly takes a scuba class with Mark, who’s struggling to process revelations regarding his late father. Paula keeps a secret from a suspicious Olivia.
Rachel shares some harsh truths with Shane and confides in Belinda, who’s reeling from bad news of her own. As the Mossbachers turn the page on their harrowing scare, Quinn reveals major life plans. On a couples’ trip in Sicily, Harper, Ethan, Daphne, and Cameron spend an awkward first day sizing each other up. As Tanya arrives with her new assistant Portia, Dominic fields questions from his father Bert about his wife’s absence, while his son Albie plays neutral. Meanwhile, hotel manager Valentina tries to keep locals Mia and Lucia out of her establishment.
Though Harper bristles at Ethan's suggestion that she's overly critical, her suspicions are raised when Cameron and Daphne claim they never fight. Meanwhile, Lucia and Mia take full advantage of their newly acquired hotel guest status, Albie and Portia (sort of) connect over dinner, and Tanya enlists Greg to help her live out her perfect day in Sicily...on a Vespa.
After promising to have a more positive attitude, Harper gets looped into a side excursion with Daphne – leaving Ethan and Cameron behind for some bro time. On her own for two days, Tanya seeks advice from a local tarot reader and summons Portia back from sightseeing with the Di Grassos. Later, Albie questions whether his father truly respects women.
When Tanya receives an impromptu invite from dashing ex-pat Quentin, Portia finds herself spending the day with his beguiling nephew, Jack. After returning from her trip with Daphne, a relieved Harper is blindsided by a piece of evidence from Ethan’s night out. Meanwhile, a suddenly guilt-ridden Lucia tries to keep Mia on a righteous path.
Still doubting Ethan, Harper gets real during a wine tasting trip with Cam and Daphne. Meanwhile, Tanya and Portia embark on a whirlwind two-day excursion to Palermo with Quentin and Jack, Albie navigates a misunderstanding with Lucia, and Valentina decides to make a staffing change to get a flirtatious Rocco away from Isabella.
After admitting their marriage needs work, Ethan grows suspicious of Harper and Cam. As they look forward to a lavish party at Quentin’s Palermo estate, Tanya gives Portia an opaque warning about Jack. Meanwhile, the Di Grassos head out in search of distant Sicilian relatives, but Dominic bristles when Albie invites Lucia along as their translator.
