The Great Golfing Gamble

Ratty, Mauly, Dachs und Frosch spielen Cricket im Schlosshof. Wütend über seinen ausbleibenden Sieg verlässt Frosch seine Freunde und beschließt, sich fortan mit einer völlig anderen Sportart Lorbeeren zu verdienen. Also kauft er sich eine Golfausrüstung, woraufhin der Wieselchef seine große Chance wittert. Er fordert Frosch zum Wettkampf heraus.

Toad becomes disillusioned with croquet after losing a game with Badger, and discovers a new exciting pastime: golf. Firmly convinced that he is a natural champion, he agrees to a match with the Chief Weasel, for rather high stakes – if Toad loses, the Chief takes Toad Hall. Badger, as usual, despairs at Toad's folly, but may yet be able to save the situation.
