Thomas soll Mief zur Seite stehen und mit ihm schwere Müllwaggons ziehen. Zunächst läuft alles nach Plan, doch als Diesel beginnt, Thomas zu hänseln und ihn als stinkende Lok betitelt, weiß Thomas nicht weiter. Schließlich wurde er von Herzogin von Boxford gebeten, sie nach seinem ‚Müllauftrag‘ zu Lady Hatt zum Tee zu fahren. Jetzt sorgt sich Thomas um seinen Geruch und lässt Mief kurzerhand allein zurück.
