Top Cat, known as T.C. to his alley cat friends, is a mischievous prankster who lives in a trash can in the alley ways of New York City. He and his alley-cat cohorts think of get rich schemes and assorted pranks which are mostly involving and aimed at Officer Dibble, their nemesis and friend. T.C. manages to get out of his tight situations with hilarity and charm and even helps Dibble on occasion who is underscored by his overbearing sergeant.

מזימותיהם כוללות את שוטר המקוף דיבול - בחורף כשהחיים ברחוב נמאסו עליהם, החבורה עברה לגור בדירתו כנגד רצונו, לאחר ששכנעו את מפקדו שדיבול הזמין אותם ללון אצלו למשך החורף.
Top Cat è una serie televisiva a cartoni animati prodotta nel 1961 da Hanna e Barbera. La storia parla di Top Cat e la sua banda di gatti randagi di città, indaffarati ogni giorno allo scopo di sbarcare il lunario grazie all'astuzia di Top Cat ed alla coesione del gruppo, sfuggendo ai guai con astuzie sempre diverse.
Manda-Chuva é o típico malandro que faz de tudo para se dar bem na vida. Morador de um beco sujo em uma grande cidade, convive com outros gatos desafortunados e se utiliza de meios pouco ortodoxos para conseguir dinheiro, comida e o que mais for possível. Mas, sempre há alguém de olho nesse vivaldino. O guarda Belo, representante da lei, responsável pela paz e ordem no beco, está sempre atento aos movimentos dos felinos. É claro que Manda-Chuva sempre dá um jeitinho de enrolar o ingênuo guarda.

Clásica serie de la factoría Hanna Barbera. El protagonista, Don Gato, es el líder de una pandilla de gatos callejeros en Manhattan: Panza (Fancy-Fancy), Espanta/Espanto (Spook), Benito B. Bodoque y V. (Benny the Ball), Demóstenes (The brain) y Cucho (Choo-Choo). Por su parte, el oficial Matute (Officer Dibble), policía del barrio, trata infructuosamente de atraparlos y llevarlos a la cárcel. Uno de los motivos para el arresto era que Don Gato trataba de utilizar un teléfono como propio pero que era propiedad de la policía.
Pacha (« Top Cat » en version originale américaine) est le chef d'un groupe de chats de ruelle, en cherchant toujours à tromper quelqu'un. Sa petite bande est composée de chats de gouttière, à savoir : lui-même le « Pacha » (le chef, un chat jaune en costume et chapeau violet, toujours plein d'assurance et de plan pour faire fortune), Chouchou (un chat rose en pull blanc, fidèle second toujours à l'écoute), Bidule « la-boule » (chaton bleu un peu lent mais toujours en admiration devant le Pacha), Firlut, Bezig, « ptite-tête » (chat roux pas très futé, voire plutôt niais), leur « némésis » et un agent de policier, l'agent Crampon, qui garde toujours un œil sur eux et en particulier sur le Pacha afin de déjouer (en vain) leurs combines.
