歌が大好きな高校生・清瀬明良。
彼の歌は歌い手“KIKUNOYU”として動画配信サイトに公開されていた。
ある日、その歌声を聴いた芸能事務所“sMiLeaプロダクション”にスカウトされる。
そこは、突如引退した伝説のアイドル“Anela”がアイドル育成のために立ち上げた事務所だった。
同じくスカウトされた直江万里、五十鈴川千紘とともにグループを結成することになった明良。
歌い手出身の3人は、同じ事務所の所属アイドル
“LEGIT”、“JAXX/JAXX”に刺激を受けながら、
それぞれの想いを胸にアイドルデビューを目指す──。
Kiyose Akira sings on a video streaming site under the singer name "KIKUNOYU." One day the talent agency sMiLea Production scouts him. sMiLea is an agency founded by the retired legendary idol pair AneLa to train new budding idols. Akira then forms an idol group with Naoe Banri and Isuzugawa Chihiro, who were also scouted. Their new group, Protostar, will have their debut alongside other new idol groups with sMiLea Production: Legit and Jaxx Jaxx.
Sob o nome artístico de KIKUNOYU, Akira Kiyose publicava suas músicas em um site de vídeo em streaming até ser abordado pela sMiLea Production. A sMiLea foi fundada por uma dupla de idols aposentados, com o intuito de formar os idols de uma nova geração. Ao lado de Banri Naoe e Chihiro Isuzugawa, Akira forma a unidade Protostar, que estreia no mercado musical ao lado de outros dois grupos da sMiLea: o Legit e o Jaxx Jaxx.

Akira forma quindi un gruppo idol con Banri Naoe e Chihiro Isuzugawa, anch'essi scoperti dall'agenzia.
