宇宙のどこかにある惑星「H12(エイチワンツー)」 。 地球によく似たその惑星はある時、異星からやってきた宇宙怪獣たちの襲撃を受ける。 やがて惑星が崩壊、滅亡する中、地球へ逃げのびたひとりの宇宙⼈がいた。 「テオ」―、やがて「ウルトラマン」へと成⻑する独りぼっちの宇宙⼈。 彼は明⼼⼤学獣医学部獣医学科三年⽣ 光⽯イブキとして、地球の常識に馴染めないながらも、愛する動物たちと⼼を通わせ穏やかな⼤学⽣活を過ごしていた。 しかし、⾃⾝の故郷を滅ぼした宇宙怪獣が突如として襲来、地球に危機が訪れる。 「守りたい」という強い想いが過去の記憶に怯える⼼を奮い⽴たせた時、まばゆい光がイブキの姿を、⻘き光の巨⼈へ変⾝させる！
