大学で写真サークルに入った平良（萩原利久）は、小山和希（高野洸）と出会う。小山のおかげで、平良に対する侮蔑や揶揄はすっかり消え、平穏な大学生活を送っていたが、高校卒業以降、憧れのキング・清居（八木勇征）と会えない日々に、平良は虚しさを抱えていた。ある日、テレビに映る清居に、平良が釘付けになっていた様子に気づいた小山は、とあるサプライズを決行。自分の誕生日に、小山の兄・洋平（栗山航）が演出する舞台を見に行こうと提案したのだった。その舞台に出演していたのはなんと、清居で―。久々に再会を果たす2人だったが、平良はより一層胸が苦しくなっていた。入間（染谷俊之）らキラキラした俳優仲間に囲まれ、絶対に手が届くはずがない清居を、このまま追いかけ続けていいのだろうか…。

Hirara (Toshihisa Hagiwara), who joined a photography club at university, meets Kazuki Koyama (Kou Takano).Thanks to Koyama, his contempt and ridicule for Taira had completely disappeared and he lived a peaceful university life, but after graduating from high school, Taira had a sense of emptiness in his days when he could not meet his long-cherished King Kiyoi (Yagi Takeshi).One day, Koyama realized that Taira was glued to Kiyoi on TV, and made a surprise decision.On his birthday, he suggested going to see a performance directed by Yohei Koyama (Kuriyama Ko), Koyama's older brother.It was Kiyoi who appeared on the stage.The two met again for the first time in a long time, but Taira was even more distressed.I wonder if I should keep chasing Kiyoi, who is surrounded by sparkling actors such as Iruma (Toshiyuki Someya), and who can never reach her...
